Points FAQ
FAQ #1: If I am trying to go on a spring break or summer trip but haven’t made active status, does that disqualify me from eligibility?
A: No it does not! However, potential trippers who reached active status this semester will have priority and a better chance of getting selected due to the high demand.
FAQ #2: If I didn’t make active status for the Fall, can I make it up in the Spring?
A: Yes! If you make it to 30+ points (with the required meeting, volunteer, and social requirements) by the end of the year, you will have "made up” for the Fall.
FAQ #3: What if I can’t make meetings?
A: We understand that conflicts come up. Make sure to email Shannon at gmtpresident@gmail.com with proof of a class or work conflict, this will excuse you from the 4 meetings requirement for that semester! You can make up those 4 points in any other category.
