Get Your Learn On!

Those of you wishing to embark on one of our life changing trips must first attend 6 mandatory workshops in order to get all the necessary knowledge you'll need to travel easily, understand the culture, and of course treat your patients. Topics include learning about relevant diseases, medical Spanish, taking vital signs, and more. They are not only extremely informative, but they will also allow you to bond with other members going on your trip abroad (Not to mention workshops total 11 of your mandatory 33 points)! So show up and have a blast!

Workshops 1, 3, and 5 are mandatory for Return Trippers, but all are encouraged to attend all workshops to get to know your fellow trippers!

 

If you foresee conflicts with the workshop dates for this semester, please email gmtworkshops@gmail.com. We are currently handling scheduling issues on a case-by-case basis. Make sure to get these conflicts sorted out BEFORE you apply for a trip this semester! 

 

Unexcused workshop absences will unfortunately result in a deduction of 2 points to be made up in office hours!
